Find the long-term answer at the point guard position

The stopgap tactic didn’t work for the New York Knicks when it came to addressing the point guard position. That can’t be the case again this offseason. The Knicks need to make it a priority to find the long-term answer at the point guard position.

Whether that’s finding one via the NBA Draft or paying a premium for one via free agency, the Knicks may need to make it their No. 1 priority. Once the Knicks solidify the point guard spot, they will have a strong foundation for their build moving forward.

Of course, that’s somewhat easier said than done. The Knicks have been trying to do this for the past few years and have failed to do so at nearly every turn.
