Commit To RJ Barrett

RJ Barrett is another New York Knicks player that is quite polarizing. Many view him as a solid foundational player and potential future star while others view him as a player that hasn’t quite lived up to the hype coming out of Duke.

Nevertheless, it’s hard not to say that Barrett took a step forward this season. He did. During his third year in the league, he averaged 20 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game on 41 percent shooting from the field. Even though that’s not a great efficiency number, some of that could be attributed to the team’s overall struggles.

Barrett should be the player that the Knicks are building around and it’s time that they go all-in on that plan.

Barrett needs the full support of the franchise and that needs to take place this offseason.
