Even though the LA Clippers missed the playoffs, it’s difficult to say that they had a disappointing season considering everything that the team had to overcome. And, still, the team nearly made the playoffs.
Kawhi Leonard missed all season with a partially torn ACL and Paul George missed the majority of the season with an elbow injury. Even when he did return, he missed the most important game of the year due to health and safety protocol.
Despite all that, the Clippers finished over .500 with a 42-40 record. They lost in the final Play-In Tournament game and will head into the offseason with some adjustments to make but in a fairly good spot.
