Add more depth

In addition to Isaiah Hartenstein, Nicolas Batum and Robert Covington will be free agents. Short of trading one of their big-money players (perhaps Marcus Morris or Luke Kennard), the Clippers aren’t going to have much wiggle room in free agency.

If LA is going to be a contender in the Western Conference next season, they’re going to need to figure out how to add more depth (or even just re-sign the right players). There’s a good chance that Covington and Batum are going to get bigger money offers than what the Clippers offer and they’ll need to replenish the depth.

It won’t be easy, but the Clippers may need to reshuffle the supporting cast around Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. It should be high on their priority list.
