Kevin Durant has lost a step – is the Achilles injury finally taking its toll?
Through the first two games against the Boston Celtics, Kevin Durant has looked…bad? He was still averaging 25 points, four rebounds, and four assists during the first two games on the road, but was shooting just 31 percent shooting from the field overall.
There were times during the first two games that Durant seemed disinterested and was shying away from the ball – characteristics that we generally don’t see associated with Durant. Especially not in the postseason.
Really, for the first time since his recovery from the Achilles injury, he looks like he’s lost a step. Maybe all the minutes from the regular season have finally caught up with him. It sure looked that way through the first two games in the series.
