The Denver Nuggets’ championship window has closed

In their first-round NBA Playoff series, the Golden State Warriors have absolutely blitzed the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets look outmatched in every facet against the Warriors. Even though they’re missing Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., it’s hard to see how either of them makes that much of a difference in this series.

That’s how dominant the Warriors have been. So much so that I can’t help but feel as if the championship window – whether you believed they even had one or not – has closed for the Nuggets.

With how good the Warriors have looked, coupled with the young up-and-coming Grizzlies, and the defending West champion Phoenix Suns, it’s difficult to not feel as if the rest of the West has passed the Nuggets by.
