Re-sign Kyrie Irving to a long term contract

During his postgame press conference after the Brooklyn Nets were swept out of the NBA Playoffs by the Boston Celtics, Kyrie Irving made it abundantly clear that he plans on re-signing with the team.

And the Nets need to get a long-term deal done soon. For better or worse, the Nets are attached at the hip with both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Despite all the outside noise, they’re still one of the most talented duos in the league.

Adding Ben Simmons to that will only give this team a better shot at winning a championship. Kyrie is not going anywhere and needs to be locked up shortly after the start of free agency this offseason.
