How healthy will Robert Williams be in this series?
Robert Williams tore his meniscus last month just before the start of the NBA Playoffs. After making a quick recovery, Williams made his return to the Celtics’ rotation during the last two games against the Brooklyn Nets.
Willaims played 14 and 16 minutes, respectively, in those two games but didn’t quite look like himself in either affair. He was clearly battling through rust and it’s going to continue to take time for him to look like the All-NBA defensive presence that he was this season.
Here’s the scary part of how dangerous the Celtics are as a team; even without Williams looking anything like his usual self, the Celtics were still on pace to sweep the Nets. If we see Rob truly look like his pre-injury self, Boston could be extremely overwhelming.
And he is expected to play a big role in this series with how much Giannis likes to play around the basket.
