Utah Jazz: 4 offseason goals for the front office to prioritize
Decide whether to retool, rebuild, or run it back
Since the 2018-19 NBA season, the Utah Jazz has lost in the first round of the playoffs three of the last four years. In the NBA, if you’re not taking tangible steps forward, it’s because you’re too busy falling a few steps behind the competition.
And that’s exactly where the Jazz may find itself heading into the offseason. They have two of the better players in the league in Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, but for one reason or another, it simply hasn’t worked out as hoped recently.
This offseason, the Jazz has to decide whether it’s time to retool (and probably significantly), rebuild, or run it back next season. And that decision won’t be an easy one.
