Utah Jazz: 4 offseason goals for the front office to prioritize
Find some resolution between Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert
Depending on what the Jazz ultimately decides to do this offseason, there’s a strong chance that the team will have to find some resolution between Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. I know this has been downplayed all season long, but where there’s smoke there’s almost always fire.
If this means having a “come to Jesus” moment, that’s what needs to happen. Or maybe this is the team reassessing the entire roster and figuring out which player it would be more prudent to build around heading into the offseason.
Having to pick between Mitchell and Gobert seems like an easy decision on the surface and it’s something that the Jazz hopes it doesn’t have to do, but there’s a very real chance that’s something that needs to be done this offseason.
