Utah Jazz: 4 offseason goals for the front office to prioritize
Add one more difference-maker
Aside from their top 5 players, there was little that the Jazz could rely on during the postseason. It quickly became clear that the Jazz was one or two difference-makers off the bench away from being a true threat in the Western Conference.
And that’s something the Jazz will want to address, even more so if they decide to keep their dynamic duo together. I’m not sure how they could make it happen, but the Jazz needs to add to this core.
They took some chances this past offseason but Rudy Gay didn’t work out, Hassan Whiteside was fine but is not a big difference-maker on most nights, no other bench players played enough to make a big difference. That can’t be the case next season if the Jazz wants to be viewed as contenders.
