NBA Trade Rumors: 3 stars that the Atlanta Hawks could target on the trade market in an attempt to pair with Trae Young. 

After making an unlikely run to the Eastern Conference Finals, many expected the Atlanta Hawks to be a conference threat heading into this season. However, the team never recovered from a slow start to the season and lost in five games in the first round of the NBA Playoffs to the top-seeded Miami Heat.

Nevertheless, one thing was evident as Young struggled to find his rhythm against one of the elite defenses in the league – he needs help and the Hawks need an additional playmaker on the offensive end.

Heading into this offseason, that should be at the top of the Hawks’ priorities – finding a legit offensive threat to place next to Young. Assuming they’ll have to do it via the trade market, we explore three “stars” that the Hawks could pursue via trade this offseason.
