NBA Trade Rumors: 3 stars for the Atlanta Hawks to target for Trae Young

Guards are the move in the modern NBA. And coming off an injury this past season, there’s a chance that Collin Sexton is one of the most sought-after guards this offseason. If so, the Atlanta Hawks should be somewhat interested.

There are whispers that there’s mutual interest between the Cavs and Sexton, but I believe that it will be extremely difficult for a deal to be agreed upon. Sexton wants max money and the Cavs don’t have much to play with – considering the contracts that are on the books and who they’ll have to pay next.

A Sexton, Trae Young combo may not seem ideal on paper but perhaps they could make it happen. Sexton isn’t an elite defender by any means and would immediately be a concern. But there’s no question that he is a professional scorer.
