Bam Adebayo could find some rythym on the offensive end

For as good as Bam Adebayo was defensively for the Miami Heat in their first-round gentleman’s sweep of the Atlanta Hawks, he did not look himself (or comfortable) on the offensive end. He averaged 12 points on just 52 percent shooting from the field.

To put into perspective, Bam averaged 19 points on 56 percent shooting from the field during the regular season. Heading into Game 1, especially against a team as offensively talented as the Sixers, it was going to be important for Bam to get back on track offensively. It should be a bit easier to do without Embiid in the lineup.

Naturally, Bam struggles when going up against Embiid and the Sixers on the offneive end. During two games played against Philly, Bam only averaged 14 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. However, perhaps with Embiid out at least to start the series, he could find some rythym before Embiid comes back.

And if Bam finds his spots offensive early in this series, it could pay dividends down the line for the Heat.
