The New Orleans Pelicans all of a sudden have become one of the most intriguing teams heading into the offseason. The acquisition of CJ McCollum really changed the trajectory of the team and that’s because Zion Williamson didn’t even suit up this year.

One potential option for a team that is trying to trend in the right direction is AJ Griffin, a standout wing out of Duke.

Griffin would fit right in with the Pelicans as a 3-and-D threat from the moment he steps on the court during training camp. There’s also a chance that he could be much more than that if he develops properly.
