9. San Antonio Spurs – Johnny Davis, G, Wisconsin
The San Antonio Spurs have had decades upon decades of relevance in the NBA. However, over the past few years, that all has passed away. Though, there’s no question that this team needs to continue to try and accumulate talent.
Without a true face of the franchise, it’s difficult to build this team out. Though Dejounte Murray is really good, I’m not sure he’s the future star that is going to lead the Spurs to the new era of the franchise.
Johnny Davis could be another offensive-minded piece that could be another developmental project for the franchise – no matter what Gregg Popovich ends up doing this offseason.
