14. Cleveland Cavaliers – Dyson Daniels, G, G League Ignite
The recent reporting regarding Collin Sexton and the Cleveland Cavaliers has been encouraging. However, I just don’t see how the Cavs could give Sexton the max money he wants with the money that they already have going out and who they have to pay next.
Working under that assumption, I believe that we’re going to see the Cavs try to address the backcourt at the draft. One option is Dyson Daniels, a guard prospect that elected to play in the G League this past season.
He’s absolutely going to be a work in progress for the team but the good news is that they won’t need him to contribute much early on. He’ll have time to develop.
