16. Atlanta Hawks – Malaki Branham, F, Ohio State
It’s going to be difficult for the Atlanta Hawk to find what they need at the NBA Draft. They need a secondary playmaker to Trae Young and I’m not sure there’s one worthy to be selected at this point in the NBA Draft.
Instead, they could take a chance on a rising prospect such as Malaki Branham, who would inject some youth on the wing. This past season, the Hawks struggled to solidify their wings next to Young.
Danilo Gallinari began to show his age, Cam Reddish didn’t work out and then was traded at the deadline. DeAndre Hunter showed promise in the playoffs but even he has questions about his consistency. Branham would give the Hawks another developmental option.
