NBA Draft prospect Walker Kessler (John Reed-USA TODAY Sports)

20. San Antonio Spurs (via Boston) – Walker Kessler, C, Auburn

It may not be a sexy pick but is anything that the San Antonio Spurs do sexy? Don’t answer that. Walker Kessler is arguably the best defensive rim-protector in this NBA Draft class and if he can improve even slightly on the offensive end, he becomes that much more of an interesting prospect.

The Spurs could develop him and turn him into a really productive player at the next level. As almost an impossible stat, Kessler averaged four blocks per game this past season for the Tigers.

I’m not sure if he’ll be able to replicate anything close to that at the next level, but if he can that alone should find him a role on a team automatically.
