NBA Mock Draft 7.0: Knicks land Donovan Mitchell; Jabari Smith at No. 1
21. Denver Nuggets – Trevor Keels, F, Duke
It’ll be interesting to see how the Denver Nuggets approach the offseason. They are coming off a disappointing season, but 40 percent of their starting lineup missed practically the entire season. Will they make a panic move or try to pick up where they left off two years ago?
Assuming that they’re going to continue to try to build around this team’s core, which will likely include a huge extension for Nikola Jokic this offseason, there are a few potential options that could help solidify their depth.
Duke forward Trevor Keels could provide some value for the team late in the first round. He’s a hard-nosed player that could come in and work his way into a carved-out role for the team in the future.
