A Desmond Bane bounce back Game 2?

In the Grizzlies’ first-round series win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Desmond Bane averaged 24 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the field and 46 percent shooting from 3-point range. If Memphis is going to beat the Warriors, they’re going to need Bane to tap back into that well.

In Game 1, Bane struggled mightily and finished with just nine points on 3-10 shooting from the field and 1-5 shooting from 3-point range. No matter how you want to chalk it up, whether to good defense from Golden State or simply a bad game, there’s no question that Bane will need to bounce back if the Grizzlies are going to win Game 2.

Ja Morant may have gone off in Game 2, but the Grizzlies aren’t going to have much of a chance in this series if Bane continues to be a non-factor.
