Will the Sixers go small?

Advanced stats aside, it was pretty clear to recognize that the Philadelpiha 76ers were most successful against the Miami Heat when they went small. I understand that Sixers coach Doc Rivers is trying to find some advantages by starting DeAndre Jordan, but it isn’t 2014 anymore.

I’m not sure if Paul Reed is the answer to start at the 5, but he’ll give them a better chance than forcing Jordan at the 5. If Doc really wanted, he could get creative and steal some minutes with Tobias Harris or even Georges Niang at the 5.

It may not be ideal, especially against Bam Adebayo, but it will give them a better chance to throw something at the Heat that they aren’t used to than continuing to try to throw out frontcourt lineups that simply didn’t work in Game 1.
