Heading into the offseason, we explore four realistic trade targets for the Los Angeles Lakers in an attempt to help LeBron James win another ring.

Missing the playoffs is generally unacceptable for the Los Angeles Lakers. Even less so is missing the playoffs with a roster led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Even though each of their core pieces missed time with injury this season, the Lakers can’t head into next season with this same exact roster.

Though, that’s going to be easier said than done. The Lakers don’t have cap space, have limited trade assets, and have Russell Westbrook’s contract that they have to work with. At the same time, that doesn’t mean the Lakers won’t be able to make moves.

They just may end up being more costly than usual. For example, the Lakers may have to attach a first-round pick to get Westbrook off the roster. Either way, the Lakes have their work cut out for them but there are avenues to improve the roster.

As the offseason inches closer and closer, we explore four realistic offseason trade targets for the Lakers.
