One potential target that could arise for the Los Angeles Lakers during the offseason is Eric Gordon, who will essentially be entering the final year of his contract (he’d also have a team option for the 2023-24 season).

He’s making under $20 million this upcoming season and could be a player that could play off of both LeBron and Anthony Davis. Gordon has taken a back seat for the Rockets since they’ve gone to a full rebuild and could offer some real value to a team like the Lakers.

Even in a minimal role with Houston, Gordon averaged 13 points and three assists on 48 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent shooting from 3-point range. Gordon wouldn’t cost much but the Lakers would simply figure out how to make the money work. It’s doable.
