Coming off back-to-back disappointing seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers have plenty of work to do this offseason if they want to be considered a championship contender next campaign in the Western Conference. Specifically, if they want to continue to compete for a championship with LeBron James on the roster.
However, the Lakers must operate with urgency this offseason considering that Father Time is creeping up on LeBron who will turn 38 by the middle of next season. If his championship window isn’t closed yet, it’s coming soon.
LeBron is still playing at an extremely high level and it would be dubious if the Lakers didn’t try and take advantage of that heading into next season.
With that in mind, we explore four ways (or four moves) the Lakers need to prioritize this summer in an attempt to extend LeBron’s championship window with the team.
