Chicago Bulls Goal No. 4: GET HEALTHY

The Chicago Bulls were the definition of a bandage this season. Patrick Williams was sidelined early with an injured wrist that required surgery, and the Bulls’ season took a tumble from there.

Alex Caruso, Lonzo Ball, Derrick Jones Jr., Coby White, Javonte Green, Nikola Vucevic, Ayo Dosunmu, DeMar DeRozan, and others were all sidelined due to injuries. After the all-star break, it was undeniable that the Bulls struggled to maintain the momentum that they had shown in the first half of the season.

With so many starters and crucial players out with injury or in health and safety protocol, DeRozan was considered a probable MVP candidate going into the All-Star break. However, after the break, he turned into a strict scorer for the Bulls, as it was clear that someone else needed to step up, but no one did.

If the Bulls can keep their health in check, we should see a revitalized team next season. They know they can be exceptional, and with an entire offseason together while keeping their health in line, the Bulls might be instant contenders with the right offseason moves.
