After an impressive 2021 playoff run, ultimately earning a championship, the Milwaukee Bucks looked to run it back. Their aspirations of a repeat title came short in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, falling to the Boston Celtics in seven games.

In one of the most grueling and physical playoff series in recent memory, the Milwaukee Bucks were just one game away from moving on after stealing a pivotal game five on the road. However, the injury to Khris Middleton, which kept him out the entire series, proved to be too much of a loss on offense, as Milwaukee was held under 90 points in both of the last two games.

Despite the defeat, the Bucks’ season cannot be considered a failure. They got another MVP-quality season from Giannis Antetokounmpo, as he cements himself as the best player in the world. Any roster around the Greek Freak will have a chance in the playoffs, as Giannis almost single-handedly dragged his team across the finish line against one of the league’s best defenses.

After a questionable offseason for the Bucks’ front office, as they could not manage to bring back P.J. Tucker after playing a crucial role in a championship-winning team, it will be interesting to see how Milwaukee addresses their needs. Their lack of offensive production was glaring without Middleton, with other rotational wing players unable to pick up the slack.

With that being said, let’s go through each player on the Bucks who’s under contract through at least the 2022-23 season.
