Free agents: Serge Ibaka

Serge Ibaka was the Milwaukee Bucks’ main trade deadline acquisition, losing Donte DiVincenzo, Rodney Hood, and Semi Ojeleye in the process. They also acquired an additional second-round pick in the four-team deal.

An intriguing option at center, Ibaka is a switchable big who can also stretch the floor to a certain degree. His role in Toronto’s defense during their championship season was nothing to scoff at, and Milwaukee hoped to bring a similar level of intensity.

Unfortunately, Ibaka has struggled with injuries, and was never really the same player in Milwaukee. He ended up only playing in the 19 games and completely falling out of the playoff rotation. It’s unlikely he’s back with the Bucks, barring he gets completely healthy and is physically explosive once again.
