Signed players: Khris Middleton

Khris Middleton’s value became extremely apparent in his playoff absence, with nobody on the entire Bucks roster managing to make a jump shot. The 3-time all-star is so essential to Milwaukee’s halfcourt offense, as he’s the most capable off-the-dribble creator on the team in terms of shot-making.

He should be fully recovered from his sprained MCL going into next season, and will remain the second most important player in this offensive system. This will be the second-to-last year of his current deal, with a $40 million player option available in the 2023-24 season.

There’s no need to look to trade Middleton in this offseason, as the duo of him and Giannis have already captured a championship for the Bucks. This is a proven formula that can, and will, work if all remain healthy.
