Signed players: George Hill

The 36 -year-old point guard, like most of the Bucks’ supporting cast, really struggled in their second-round series. George Hill only scored five total points in 76 minutes of action across five games. He was overmatched on both ends of the court, with the likes of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown simply going right through him.

In previous years, the veteran point guard had provided a 3-and-D aspect to contending benches. This season, he experienced a drastic fall-off from distance, only hitting 30.6% of his perimeter shots. That’s down from 46% from that same range in the 2019-20 season.

Owed $4 million next year, the Bucks may opt for a younger, healthier option as a backup point guard — perhaps one they already have on the roster.
