NBA Mock Draft 8.0: Pistons take a gamble; Magic find their cornerstone
17. Houston Rockets – Nikola Jovic, F, International
There was at one point earlier this draft year in which Nikola Jovic was considered the best international prospect. He’s still a really good prospect and has a high ceiling. If the Rockets want to truly invest in the future, Jovic would be a solid selection.
18. Chicago Bulls – TyTy Washington, G, Kentucky
In the event that the Chicago Bulls lose Zach LaVine this offseason, TyTy Washington would be a smart addition at the NBA Draft. It makes even more sense if the concern surrounding Lonzo Ball is true.
I’m not sure if Washington is ready to an initial role for a playoff team, but he has the talent where he can grow into one in Chicago down the line.
