2. Oklahoma City Thunder – Paolo Banchero, F, Duke

The Oklahoma City Thunder are still kind of waiting for the face of the franchise to arise in the organization. For as good as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been for the Thunder over the last few years, he truly hasn’t risen as the face of the franchise.

That said, picking at No. 2, the Thunder will have another opportunity to find one. Thankfully, this is a top 3 draft – meaning that there are three, at least, potential faces of the franchise. At No. 2, there may not be a better selection for OKC than Paolo Banchero.

I actually believe this is the best fit for the Thunder – thankfully, the Magic will likely prefer Holmgren over Banchero. OKC gets an offensive-minded wing that has the potential to be a really good payer down the line.
