NBA Trade Rumors: 3 teams that should attempt to acquire Mo Bamba from the Orlando Magic if they are looking to trade him. 

Thanks to some luck at the 2022 NBA Draft Lottery, the Orlando Magic were awarded the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft. With the chance (or expectation) that the Magic could select Chet Holmgren, there’s a natural sense (with some actual reported substance) that the team could elect to trade Mo Bamba this offseason.

And there are various reasons why the perfect storm may be developing for a Bamba trade. For one, he’s a restricted free agent this offseason. And he’ll likely be looking for a biggish payday after polishing off the best statistical season of his career thus far.

Add that into the fact that the Magic could select Holmgren No. 1 overall, who plays the exact position of Bamba, and it’s not out of the realm of possibility that on the same night in which the Magic select Bamba’s replacement that they trade him.
