Paolo Banchero has “it”

I’m not sure if I can explain it perfectly or if you even believe in “it,” but watching the top three prospects I have been able to define one thing: Paolo Bancher has “it.” I don’t believe that Chet Holmgren and Jabari Smith have the “it” factor any more than Banchero does. And I firmly believe that Banchero has a higher offensive (and star) ceiling than his counterparts.

Let’s face it, the NBA is all about its stars. All about the players that have the “it” factor. At least for me, the “it” factor is what separates the very talented NBA players from the superstars. It’s part of the reason why I believe Michael Beasley never became a star. He simply didn’t have “it.” He’s one of the most talented players in the league history. but never became anything but that in the NBA.

And that’s perfectly fine. Not everyone can have the “it” factor. Holmgren and Smith will likely be very good players in the NBA. I believe that Banchero will be a star. And he’ll have a very good chance of developing into a superstar.

The Magic need to believe in that and draft Banchero.
