Donovan Mitchell to the New York Knicks

The whispers surrounding Donovan Mitchell haven’t exactly quieted now that the season has been concluded. Whether or not the Utah Jazz would actually shop him this offseason remains to be seen. But if they do, the New York Knicks should probably be the favorites to land him.

It’s been reported that he wants to be in New York and he’d be a great fit on the team. They don’t have a point guard and that’s exactly what Mitchell would be for the team. Plus, he could help take some of the overall pressure off of RJ Barrett (assuming he wouldn’t be part of the trade package).

The Knicks would be back in the NBA limelight and they’d significantly improve the roster with this one transaction alone. It may seem far-fetched, but it’s something that could actually come together this offseason.
