New York Knicks

If Kyrie Irving “hits the open market” this offseason, there’s no reason why New York Knicks wouldn’t be interested. They were reportedly interested in signing him a few offseasons ago before he chose Brooklyn, and the Knicks still have a void at the point guard position.

Kyrie would eliminate all needs that the team has in the backcourt and would give the team a legit star that they could go confidently into next season with. I’m not sure if such a move would cost Julius Randle or another one of their talented bigs, but I’d have to think that New York would be OK with that swap.

The Knicks love star power and that’s exactly what Kyrie would give the team. Along with a competitive (and improved) team heading into next season.
