The Boston Celtics survived a bad Jayson Tatum night

Another big reason why the Boston Celtics should feel good about their Game 1 win on the road is the fact that they managed to pull off a great comeback win without a huge scoring night from Jayson Tatum.

It was evident from the start of the game that Tatum was in for a rough night – he only finished with 12 points on 3-17 shooting from the field. Though, the great thing about Tatum is that he still found ways to contribute.

Tatum finished with 13 assists and was a plus-16 on the night. Sure he was having a bad shooting night, but he did what he could to keep the Celtics alive in the midst of 3-point make after 3-point make by the Warriors in the first half.

The fact that the Celtics still won in the midst of a bad offensive night from Tatum is a really good sign for their chances of winning this series. Because you know Tatum is going to bounce back.
