NBA Rumors: According to a recent report, there’s a growing expectation that Quin Snyder could leave the Utah Jazz this offseason.

When it seemed as if this could be the year for the Utah Jazz, the team kind of fizzled out in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. They were bested by the Dallas Mavericks, which is even more disappointing considering Luka Doncic was inactive for the first two games of the series.

And heading into the offseason, the team has plenty to figure out when it comes to the dynamic between Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert – even though the team continues to state there’s nothing to the smoke that has been rising for months.

One thing is clear – something is up in Utah and I don’t think it’s any more evident than the fact that there’s a growing chance that Quin Snyder doesn’t return to the team.

According to a recent report from ESPN, it appears that there’s a strong chance that Snyder has coached his final game with the Jazz.

"[via ESPN]My informed speculation is that Quin Snyder is likely going to end up leaving."

Snyder is a good coach and has been successful during his time in Utah. Should he hit the open market, there’s no question he’ll be a hot commodity for any team looking for a head coach – whether that’s this offseason or next.

Looking at the Jazz from a macro perspective, there’s a bad smell coming out of Utah and this is an offseason where we could see a mass exit – and Snyder could just be the start of it.

There’s a scenario where not only do the Jazz lose their leader (Snyder) but also one of their two superstars (whether it’s Donovan Mitchell or Rudy Gobert).

Either way, this is going to be an interesting offseason for the Utah Jazz. Whether it will be positive or negative remains to be seen.
