NBA Mock Draft 9.0: NY Knicks trade up for a PG; Magic go rogue at No. 1
25. San Antonio Spurs – Walker Kessler, C, Auburn
The San Antonio Spurs could look to add a center with the way the board has fallen and Walker Kessler would probably be the best bet. And he was highly productive on the defensive end of the floor with Auburn.
At least on paper, Kessler will automatically be one of the better rim protectors to emerge from this year’s draft class. Question is, will he be able to carry that into the NBA?
26. Dallas Mavericks – Trevor Keels, F, Duke
The Dallas Mavericks came close to a surprising NBA Finals run. They’re still short a few difference-makers. It’d be unfair to expect them to find one late in the first round, but Trevor Keels could be worth the risk for this franchise.
