4. Sacramento Kings – Keegan Murray, F, Iowa
I’ve said this before and probably say it again, the Sacramento Kings really control how the 2022 NBA Draft will unravel. They hold all the power. It would be extremely surprising if the top three didn’t go (in some order): Holmgren, Smith, and Banchero.
After that, it’s really anyone’s guess at this point, With De’Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell, it’s tough seeing the Kings selecting a guard. Keegan Murray could be an option as a forward for the team – especially if they don’t view Harrison Barnes as a long-term piece.
Murray burst onto the scene last season in which he proved he could be a dynamic offensive player. If he can improve slightly on the defensive end of the floor, Murray has the potential to be a really good player at the next level.
