Utah Jazz

This is an easy one. The team has been stale for years. Still, several key role players like Royce O’Neale, Jordan Clarkson, and Bojan Bogdanovic could hold a lot of value to other teams, to say nothing of Rudy Gobert.

It’s unlikely the team trades Donovan Mitchell, and if it makes the right moves to accumulate young assets and picks, by the time Mitchell’s a free agent in 2025 or 2026 (player option), the team may be in a better place to contend for a title than it’s been at any point in his career.

The fear of him wanting out in 1-2 years isn’t enough of a reason to continue mortgaging the long-term future to seal up cracks in the team’s foundation. Utah’s only future draft pick obligation (to OKC, of course) is well-protected.

I don’t have any sample trades but I believe the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks (each with limited youth/trade assets) or Memphis Grizzlies (flush with picks) would be interested in any and all of O’Neale, Clarkson, and Bogdanovic, while fan trades sending Gobert to the Dallas Mavericks for Bertans, Powell and picks speak for themselves.
