9. San Antonio Spurs – AJ Griffin, F, Duke

There seems to be a ton of hype surrounding AJ Griffin. He’s gotten comparisons to Jimmy Butler most recently, as he’s a handful on both the offensive and defensive end of the floor. The big question surrounds his limited ceiling.

However, the San Antonio Spurs feel like a great landing spot for Griffin. Perhaps, in one of the best developmental systems in the league, Griffin could have a Kawhi Leonard-type rise in the league.

That’s a whole lot of unfair pressure and expectation to place on Griffin, but he has that potential. And with the Spurs, they always seem to get the best and most out of every player that comes in and out of their system.
