There are already whispers that the Minnesota Timberwolves could trade D’Angelo Russell. If that is indeed the case, the Wolves are likely going to need some added depth to the backcourt – even if they add a low-cost veteran.
One potential option is to use the No. 19 pick to address that need. Kennedy Chandler could be an option at this point.
20. San Antonio Spurs – Jalen Williams, F, Santa Clara
As has been previously and extensively noted, the Spurs have one of the best developmental systems in the league. Adding Jalen Williams, one of the NBA Draft’s biggest risers recently, would be unfair for the team’s possibilities.
