3. Houston Rockets – Paolo Banchero, F, Duke

At No. 3, the Houston Rockets won’t waste much time. With the top two prospects off the board, Paolo Banchero falls into their laps. He’s a great fit for this team’s build and would give the Rockets one of the most interesting young cores in the league.

Plus, after trading Christian Wood, the Rockets have more minutes open in the frontcourt. Of course, there’s the whole figuring out where Banchero fits at the NBA level in terms of positioning, but he should be a good addition to this team’s talented young frontcourt.

The Rockets are absolutely on the right track and will be given a gift here at No. 3, no matter which prospect is remaining after the top 2 selections.
