John Collins is traded

For the last two years, we have known that John Collins would eventually get traded away from the Hawks, and the time is now.

Collins does not want to play along with Trae Young, as rumors arose last year that he doesn’t like how Young handles the offense. Even though they have been dynamic when playing together, Collins wants to win somewhere else. Collins is a very talented player who can be average 20 plus points and eight rebounds a night.

Still, he needs to be in a system that will allow him to play the way he wants, rather than being with the Hawks, who prioritize Young heavily. Collins is a versatile 24-year-old who will be a great addition to any team. Don’t be surprised if the Trail Blazers, Spurs, Kings, and the Bulls are in the mix for Collins.
