2. Oklahoma City Thunder – Chet Holmgren, C, Gonzaga

Assuming that the Magic decide to go with Jabari Smith, that will leave the Oklahoma City Thunder with a fairly easy decision at No. 2. Even though Paolo Banchero is a worthy No. 2 pick, I don’t believe that the Thunder will be able to bypass the possibility that Holmgren gives them.

He’s a special talent that will immediately change the game for the franchise. He fits next to the cornerstones of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey. Even if Holmgren never fully develops or finds his footing on the offensive end, he’ll still have a unique role for the Thunder.

OKC has built a solid foundation – both on and off the floor – and Holmgren will be the next piece of the puzzle for the Thunder.
