8. New Orleans Pelicans – Dyson Daniels, G, G League Ignite

The New Orleans Pelicans are trending in the right direction and will be looking to add some depth to the roster heading into the NBA Draft. One potential option for the team is Dyson Daniels who they’ve reportedly been linked to.

And I think it makes sense. Daniels would give the team depth behind CJ McCollum and a potential backup that could take a bigger role with the team down the line. Daniels has risen up draft boards recently and could be a steal late in the first round.

This is also a spot for a potential trade. If the Pelicans would like to add a more established veteran, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them trade the No. 8 pick for a day 1 contributor.
