Shaedon Sharpe will fall out of the lottery

At the start of the NBA Draft process, Shaedon Sharpe was one of the most mysterious of prospects. However, since, much has changed. Sharpe quickly rose up draft boards and then, most recently, has fallen a bit.

I believe that trend will continue heading into draft night. So much so that I believe that Sharpe will fall out of the lottery (the first 14 picks) entirely. Ultimately, I think he’s too much of a risk for many teams selecting in the top 14.

Sharpe could end up being a really good player in the NBA but he’s been away from the organized game for too long and, fair or not, teams are going to hold that against him.
