NBA Draft picks: Jaden Ivey, Jalen Duren, Gabriele Procida

At least for me, the Detroit Pistons had the best draft. It could end up being a disaster in a couple of years, but the potential that the Pistons now possess on their roster can’t be rivaled by many other young, rebuilding teams in the league.

Equipped with the No. 5 pick, the Pistons managed to snag Jaden Ivey, who the Sacramento Kings didn’t select at No. 4, and then worked around a trade to acquire Jalen Duren with the No. 13 pick (from the New York Knicks).

Once the dust had settled, the Pistons left the draft with two of the top 10 prospects and arguably the two most athletic prospects from this class.

Heading into the offseason, the Pistons have a young core of Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey, Saddiq Bey, and Jalen Duren. All of a sudden, the Pistons look like a team with a very bright future.
