Rudy Gobert will officially demand a trade

It’s the worst-kept secret in the world that the Utah Jazz could be on the verge of some major trouble. Over the past year or so, there have been some reported issues between Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell and this could finally be the offseason where it all comes apart.

If so, the Jazz will likely have to make a decision between the two – and it would be extremely surprising if they didn’t choose Mitchell. Assuming he doesn’t force Utah’s hand, there’s a very real scenario in which the Jazz trade Gobert this offseason.

I believe that Gobert will force his hand and elect to officially demand a trade away from Utah. I’m not sure where he’ll land, but the Jazz can’t continue to sweep their dirty laundry under the rug. It’s time for action.
